Welcome to our new blog. I suck at scrapbooking, emailing photos to grandparents, journaling, and all of the Mom-Family-Historian jobs I often dream about but never find the time for.
I am prompted to get this going by a memory I had yesterday of Ellie when she was four looking at me and saying "Mommy, I love you soooo much - my heart is going to explode and burp out candy." She is seven now and I hear the voices of so many wise Mothers in my head who have told me, "you've got to write that stuff down!!" Well, I never do. Here is my attempt at a dumping ground for all of my collections of things I never want to forget. Do these things last forever? Can Ellie go to college, click the "archives" button, and read about the time she baked her first Easy Bake Oven cake? We shall see.
And, I need a distraction from all of the CNN coverage making me want to fly to Haiti and bring home four or five babies.
So here it is, our new blog. My heart will be on here so be careful with it, people! It may burp out candy from time to time, so beware & enjoy!
